ZeFrank: Pwner of Angels
So... Much... ZeFrank.... @_@
This man is so amazing, every time he smiles a tree sloth poops rainbow butterflies onto unsuspecting tourists.
Check him out on youtube or on his website, zefrank.com
Don't be intimidated by his strange eyes and orange filters. His videos are thought provoking, but easy to understand and his voice is like the lovechild of Leonard Cohen and a very cuddly, sarcastic tiger.
Now GO.

ANGSTADY-ANGST, HURRAH!
Hello, world.
Despite what my last post may have lead you to believe, I'm actually not constantly depressed anymore. What cured me? I'd like to say the support of my family and friends, but I'm gonna be honest here. While the humans whom I occasionally let within my personal bubble of 5 feet (most notably Cooper McHatton) helped me feel a little less empty inside, what really cured me was the Vlogbrothers. I'm sorry, guys. You helped a lot, but there's something about John and Hank that reminds me that, despite our faults, we're all made of some form of awesome.
That being said, I'm not feeling too amazing at the moment. I have a doctor's appointment (for a check-up) in a few hours (I don't know WHEN) that I became aware of just today. I HATE DOCTOR'S OFFICES. I DON'T KNOW WHY. I can read all day about lympoma and sleep soundly at night. I can look at diagrams of tracheotomies and all I'll think is "Neat!" I'm the kind of person who thinks it's fun to stay up until 6:00AM on a school night reading up on torture methods on wikipedia. However, when I walk into that cold, foul-smelling office, I immediately start to panic. My throat feels like it's closing, I can't fight off the people trying to hug me or comfort me, and I'm afraid that the rushing sound in my ears will be my undoing.
So, yeah. I don't particularly like the doctor's office. On top of all this, I DON'T KNOW IF I WORK THIS FRIDAY. The days have been scrambled up on me and I can barely remember what I did yesterday, never mind the day before that. I really hope they'd call me if I skipped a day. It is VERY important that I find out if I work, because I have a therapy session RIGHT WHEN I F#CKING WORK EVERY OTHER FRIDAY.
<rant>
...And I've been staying until at least 4:00AM every night for the past week, my library book is due tomorrow, my friend Talon and I are trying to make things work between us (but I think we might be failing), I'm sure Shanti has sent me a new email, but I haven't checked it yet and I hope she isn't mad at me, I love math but I suck at it, I feel like a heel for not hanging out with Cooper as much as I should, the overuse of emotion among humans is stupid, unnecessary, and confusing, I don't understand women, I can't remember what day it is, I keep forgetting why I'm here and I wonder if I ever knew, panic attacks are rampant, the ninjas are all after me, and I'm pretty damn sure that the Silents are creeping up on me wherever I go.
...Oh, and commas are CONFUSING, especially when I misuse them. Sorry about that. >.<
BAH. Anyway, what was I saying before my post was bombarded by ANGST??
Oh yeah. I'm not depressed anymore.
Wheee. <waves maracas/>

Name of the Doctor... THE FUUH??
[WARNING!
FOR DOCTOR WHO SEASON 7, EPISODE 13]
...Ya? Ya.
Sooo.... I'm assuming that anyone reading to here has watched the season finale. I'm also assuming that you're just as astounded as I am.
I mean, what the hell. What WAS that?? I think I liked it, but it was weird. It ties up the whole Clara thing quite nicely, but there are some major plot points I don't feel were properly addressed. Like... Oh... I dunno, WHO THE HELL DOES JOHN HURT PLAY?? The doctor, obviously, but which one??
There are many theories, but I like the 9.5 on the best. ...Wait. 9? ...DAMN IT! See, I never watched Classic Who, so I had no idea that the Time War took place between 8 and 9. I assumed that it was before 1's time, and he had been carrying the baggage all this time! Good god, the Doctor is amazing at hiding his feelings! Anyhoo, what was I prattling on about? Oh yes, John Hurt.
So I'm pretty sure that John Hurt plays 9. I have some questions as to how they're going to approach this, though. There are 3 ways, as far as I can see-
My biggest headache with all this?
WE'VE. BEEN. GETTING. THENUMBERSWRONGALLTHISTIME.
This is a very big problem for me. If John Hurt really is the 9th Doctor, then 9 is actually 10, and 10 is actually 11, and 11 is actually 12, WHICH MEANS THAT THE DREADED 13 IS COMING UP NEXT. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, Time Lords are only allowed to regenerate 12 times, giving them a total of 13 bodies. Sometimes they were granted extra lives, but it wasn't often. We have no idea how many regenerations the Doctor is allowed, so we're expecting his escape from the Rule of Thirteen to be pretty gnarly. And, if this whole "John Hurt As the Real 9th Doctor" hypothesis to be true, we have way less time then we had previously thought.
....Also, I have a borderline-CDO* thing about getting names right. IF I'VE HAD THE NUMBER OF DAVID TENNANT'S DOCTOR ALL WRONG THIS WHOLE TIME, I'M NOT SURE WHAT I'LL DO. ...Probably just map out a vacuuming plan for my room, but still.
...ALSO, DO WE GET MORE RIVER SONG??? 'Cause we need more River Song.

- 1. They abandon 11 and jump backward, focusing on 9.5.
- They kill 11 and jump backward, focusing on 9.5.
- They focus on 11 and 9.5 at the same time, maybe switching every other episode, maybe through flash-backs.
- They keep on truckin' with 11, leaving us to wonder about 9.5 for the rest of 11's reign.

A Rather Small and Silly Update
I've been a bit out of sorts since the 10th Doctor died. I know that this will sound crazy, but I've been mourning by carrying around a replica sonic screwdriver to most places and wearing a light brown longcoat.
...I've even considered cutting my hair like his. (I've decided not to because it would use too much gel.)
If this is what it likes when a character dies, I can't imagine what it would be like to have one of my friends die...
Friends, please do your best to not die. It would be awful for all of us to lose you AND have me go completely batshit. Seriously, I even annoy MYSELF.
On the more awesome side, I've worked a total of two shifts at the library so far. And MAN. It is hard work, but it ROCKS. I'm being PAID to carry and sort books ALL DAY. Love! <3
....Anyway, I'm not really sure why I posted this. Maybe to show that I'm still here? I dunno. I think I'm gonna email one of my friends. I've gotta see if I've been annoying them or something and that why they haven't sent me anything.
=)

Season 5 of Doctor Who
I just started season 5 of Doctor Who.
Oh god, 10.
I'm feeling really strange right now. I miss 10 so much... But I'm glad to have 11. I really am. He isn't better then 10, but he'll do quite nicely.
I cried when 10 died. I giggled when 11's voice broke. I cheered when he finally found his optimal food.
Damn you, Moffat. I'm so confused.

Doctor Who is Insanely Angsty
I had a dream about Doctor Who last night! It was sad.
I was his adopted kid, and we traveled around in the TARDIS doing the usual Doctor Whoish things. Although it was SUPER fun, I had to console him about breaking up with people. Tennant's sad face is the most heartbreaking thing in the world!! I remember him angsting about how no one lasted and he was so lonely. Poor Doctor.... </3
...God, that is one angsty show. Damn you, Moffat. T.T

Apparently, Longcoats Cure Ipovlopsychophobia!
Dude. Okay. So.....
I'm being a Genderbent!10th Doctor for Halloween.
Yes, I know I don't have the hair to really pull it off. I'm using the 'genderbent' thing as an excuse.
No, I am NOT too old to go trick-or-treating. I need hidden stores of chocolate to keep me sane(ish).
Anyhoo,
I'm almost done with the sonic screwdriver (actually a telekinetic x-acto blade). All I need to do is to finish varnishing it. =)
Here're the pics I took while making it! =)
Mint condition!
This could stand to be.... Just a wee bit more sonic.
Sterile paper? Check. Scalpel/X-Acto Blade? Check. Ninclowns? Nowhere in sight. The optimal moment. Let the cutting commence...
More electrical tape! =D
Ready to be painted!
Several coats of silver acrylic paint later...
This is tons of layers of electrical tape with squares cut out of it. Then I added more strips on either end of the holes. ...I FEEL NO SHAME.
Ladder-like contraption stuck to the tip. (Taken before I decided to cut the square holes.)
Head-on POV of tip.
Like watching paint dry...
Frakk yeah.
....Yes, I DID coffee today! =D
Oh! And my Mom and I went coat shopping at some thrift stores! At long last, we found this at the Goodwill for $5.99! (BTW, the Goodwill in Ventura has the best, most well-priced, variety-filled bookshelf EVER. You have Wrath of Khan and.... Other.... Less.... Nerdy.... Books.... There. Yeah, I paid no attention to the others.=P )
Anyhoo. I tried it on today and, amazingly, it fit perfectly! I've always wanted a longcoat.... AND NOW I HAVE ONE. O____O
...It even comes with a detachable hood! o^^o
.....Peace out, my fellow Whovians. =j

Violence, Rainbows, and Obsidian
Interesting things have been happening this week.
First off, I just rounded out my Yugioh deck! It now contains exactly 60 well-chosen cards. W00T!!
.....Yes, I trade and play yugioh. Why? Because it's the only game that I can play with a certain friend of mine that doesn't involve beating each other with sticks, nerf swords, or our fists. Yes, we actually do that. It's fun, but painful. Which reminds me! The other day this friend and I were talking about drawing styles and he complimented my art (which is a very high honor, seeing as he's insanely good at drawing). I thanked him and complemented his artwork and we lapsed into a happy silence. Then he hit me in the face. I pushed him off the edge of the couch in retaliation.
"You know what I've noticed?" I said, after we stopped hitting each other.
"What?" He asked.
"Whenever we agree upon something or start being nice, we have to hit each other."
He thought about it for a moment. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said, before I whacked him over the head.
....Bonding through violence and insults for the win!! =D
The best part of today was getting to walk through town with Cooper. We talked about many things, including Good Omens, Comicon, Weird Al, the new book he got: "A Geek's Guide to World Domination". Unfortunately, the writers of said book failed epically(how do I spell this???) in the LOTR department.
What the frakk, people?? 'Cmon. You have the word 'Geek' on the flippin cover, and yet you can't get an obvious LOTR fact?? Does the title 'Gimli, son of Glóin' mean anything to these people???
Gah. Anyhoo.
Besides this aggravating Tolkien fail, today was pretty awesome. To top it off, Cooper gave me some obsidian! Never have I thought that I'd hear the words "I have a bag of obsidian for you!" in this lifetime.
Awesome.
Thanks for being patient with my nerd-raging and multiple trains of thought, Cooper! =^^=
....Incidentally, if any of you find little pieces of thoughts (usually rainbow and marked with things like 'Doctor Who', 'Discworld', and 'Spirk') lying around the park, or maybe up a tree, could you please return them to me? Just deliver them to the Moon. Preferably the Dark Side. I hate trying to walk all the way over to the post office. It's too bright and the cows look at me funny. =P

In addition to his inclusion in the Fellowship, Gimli traveled with Bilbo in The Hobbit." - A Geek's Guide to World Domination, page 136Words cannot describe just how angry this makes me. I started to go into a nerd-rage after Cooper angrily read out the page.

I Watched Doctor Who!!!
I did it. I finally did it. I got around to watching Doctor Who!!
Unfortunately, Netflix didn't have the classics, so (after much research) I started with Series 1, 2005, the 9th Doctor.
IT. IS. SO. CHEESY.
.....
I love it.
I absolutely love it.
The very first episode revolves around plastic store mannequins coming to life, and chasing and shooting people with pre-installed guns I'm sure they weren't designed to have while loafing in shop windows.
Oh yeah. I'm hooked.
The 9th Doctor himself is a sarcastic, cheeky, and intense magnificent bastard. Under all that, he's sad, lonely, and strangely relatable. I miss the whole scarf and British stereotypes thing the 4th Doctor had going, but Christopher Eccleston made up for all that with his superb acting. Although I'm not as impressed with Billie Piper's acting, I think her character (Rose) is nicely developed.
And the theme song isn't all that bad either. =}
So far, 2 episodes in, I give it:
4/5 for originality
3/5 for special effects and props (the special effects? Lame. The props? EPIC.)
3/5 for acting
4/5 for interesting characters
5/5 for cool aliens and overall cheesiness. OH! And sonic screwdrivers.
So far, it gets an average of 3.8 out of a possible 5.0.
Good job, show! =)

Rainy Days With the 4th Doctor
Ah yes. Doctor Who. This show has been on my list of things to watch. For a while now.
IT HAS BEEN DRIVING ME CRAZY!!
It has been really rainy and cold today and it occurred to me (not for the first time) that I should get the 4th Doctors scarf... I did a google search and found lot of cool pics along with various patterns for creating one yourself.
Despite the patterns being pretty straightforward, the actual task of knitting such a masterpiece is quite daunting...
I'm flirting with the idea of taking up knitting (again) and launching into a full on Doctor Who scarf-making marathon. Am I up for the challenge? I'm not sure. My biggest fear is it getting ruined somehow halfway through... That would be awful.
