Horse Sh*t and I Fight the Blues

Yesterday morning was grey and overcast. It had rained the previous night and they sky was still packed with low-flying clouds. <sarcasm>As foretold by the weather,</sarcasm> I was feeling happy and adventurous. I went outside to open the gate (in my long coat, I should add) and found....
A pile of horse crap.
Yes, a horse had come along and took a dump outside our gate just that morning. I, in my stupidly cheerful mood, immediately saw the benefits in having a pile of horse poop (fertilizer for plants! =D ) and came back with a trowel. The pile was huge and the trowel was small, but I got most of it. I moved back and forth, dumping the green-brown lumps in the flowerbed between the roses. I waved to passerby, grinning like a monkey on crack* the whole time. When I got most of them, I came inside and was stopped by the stares of Dad and Holly.
"I found horse poop!" I explained excitedly. "It's aging in the flowerbed."
"Yeah, we saw." Said Holly, trying to keep her face blank and failing spectacularly. "We wondered what we were doing out there... I asked your Dad 'Is she playing with horse shit?' We watched some more and realized you were...."
"Yup!" I said proudly and marched into the bathroom to wash my hands.

<song>I got a pile of horse poop... Oh you gotta see! I think we should spread it round the yard, oh just you and me...</song>

*I just thought of that analogy and I'm mighty proud of it. =]

PS!! As soon as I get a mobile, I'm gonna get a Twitter account. O__O

Kittehz!!

Crazy things happened these past two weeks, but first off....
I HAZ A LITTEL KITTEH!!!1

Adorable kitteh iz adorable. =}

Cooper, Yugioh Kid, Silver, Alena, and I watched The Matrix!! It was the first time Cooper and Yugioh Kid had ever seen it. It ruled. Plus, Cooper got me glasses, Witches Abroad (same as the one I lost!), a 42 towel, and some tea! Yugioh Kid got me some rockin yugioh cards. Dad and Holly got me THE Titanium Starfleet Academy Spork (I have named him Spirk and we are now the best of friends), and Mom got me.... *drumroll* A HUGE KNIFE!!! It's 6" long, has one straight and one serrated edge, comes in a sweet sheath, and is extremely sturdy. Also, it's legal to carry it, just so long as it isn't concealed.... I wish I had thought of taking some pics when I was in the grocery store. =D

I went camping this week!! It rocked. I got to rock hop, finish the book Cooper got me, and had a really funny talk with Mom in the wee hours of morning. That totally ruled. =)

Discworld, Epic Step-Moms, and the Art of Retracing One's Steps

I was woken up and taken to the park, where a group was playing Wagner. I sat and read Witches Abroad by Terry Prachett on the grass, letting the music work its way into the story. Just as I was getting into the plot, we got up to go. I put the book in my pocket, gathered most of our stuff, and headed out. After we had walked halfway through the downtown area, I realized that my book had fallen out of my pocket. Holly was really nice about it and helped me retrace my steps several times. When we didn't find it, she even took me to Bart's in the hopes that we could find it. We didn't (Prachett books are kind of hard to come by) but I am extremely grateful that Holly cared so much. I really wasn't expecting that I would be allowed to look.

New Recruit pt2 (AWESOME Post)

Now that I've got the smaller, paranoid half out of the way..........

Littlekidslittlekidskidslittlekidskidslittlekidskidslittlekids!!!!!!!!!!!!
OHMYGAWD. I am SO exited!!!!!! X}

Dude, it was one of the funniest things ever....
I knew Holly was pregnant when she and Dad went to Ventura by themselves and very deliberately didn't tell us where they were going. Holly looked slightly worried and was holding Dad's hand, the owner of which beaming and bouncing around. I had noticed that something was off before, but that made it click. I reasoned that she was probably 1 month pregnant.
Three months later, she was going through JARS of pickles, craving fruit, walking differently, stopped having periods, was tired all the time, had morning sickness, and talked about food nonstop. I thought that it was hilarious they didn't want to tell us, although I totally understand their reasons. Not telling everyone that you're pregnant in the early stage is protocol and makes perfect sense. Besides, the scandalized feeling of my intelligence being underestimated was outweighed by my amusement at the fact that they thought we wouldn't find out.
Anyhoo, when Dad told us that she was pregnant and I responded with "OH COOL! So how many months has it been..? Three now?" he was utterly shocked. IT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER. His eyes got HUGE and he sputtered "You KNEW??"
Priceless.

Anyhoo, Dad and I keep taking about names while Holly looks on.
Dad wants to name him ObiWan. I think that is THE CUTEST name EVER, but if he goes to public school (something that Holly and Dad need to figure out before naming him), he needs a name that won't make him get his ass kicked. He'll already be Geeky enough if he lives with us. Holly doesn't seem to like ObiWan and also thinks that it's to dangerous. Dad suggested James in honor of James Kirk, whereupon I said that his middle name would have to be Tiberius. Although I like the ring to it (James Tiberius Sewell), Holly didn't seem to like that either.
Dad also came up with other names, but I wasn't too big on them. Han Solo Sewell doesn't sound quite right.
Holly hasn't suggested any names (at least not in front of me) yet.

I myself am thinking:
Obi Wan Sewell (just too cute to not consider)
James Tiberius Kirk (just too cool to not consider)
Spock Sewell (cool, but probably way to risky. Besides, there isn't a middle name because Spock's full name is impossible for humans to pronounce.)
Louis Farren Sewell (totally awesome, but not many get the reference. [Jack's road-name from Talisman] Also, it's what I'M planning on naming a kid I may or may not have in about 20 years.)
Loki Loptr Sewell (totally cool, but I'd be afraid of offending people)
Fenrir Caduceus Sewell (why? Because it's AWESOME)
There are also pages and pages of Elven names that ROCK.

I'm not sure if Holly would actually like any of these names (her cats are named Norman, Gladys and Bobo), but I'm throwing them out there anyway. XD

Moving on from names!
The baby is expected to be due in early October (Libra baby!!!! =^^=) and we'll get to dress him up for Halloween. BOOYA!!!
ALSO, Imma teach it to be a Geek!!!! =D
Dad and I are going to train it to be a Jedi/Samurai/Superhero/Ninja/Nerd!!!!!!!!!
We wanted him to also be a cyborg or an android, but Holly balked at that. Darn.
It's gonna be SO cool!!!!!!1
I have been searching for the Supreme Geek for my whole life. I have found Super Geeks, and I have found Totall Geeks. I have also come close to some Uber Geeks (one of them being Jason Janicki). I have just realized that I may get to help raise an Uber Geek or possibly even a Supreme Geek.

This is gonna be AWESOME.

PS!! Do you have any awesome names? Please post 'em in a comment!! =^^=

New Recruit pt1 (Paranoid Post)

I have an announcement to make.
I'M GONNA HAVE ANOTHER SIBLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
I am so exited. X}

I have to admit though, I am pretty apprehensive about all of it... My Dad and Holly (the kid's mom. Hi Holly!!) have been dating since about November. Now, don't get me wrong. I love her. She is awesome and I think that they are a great match. However, I am under the belief that infatuation lasts for about 2 years. They disagree, believing that it lasts for about 3 weeks.
...Yes, I am serious.

WHATEVER the case, they were thinking about getting married a few months back. They asked me and I said that I didn't think it was a good idea. I also added quite plainly that I didn't want them having kids right away. Despite my warnings, they did it anyway. I don't mind when people don't listen to me on the basis that, say, my fashion sense is wacky. Or that I actually don't care where we eat. Or that I will go off on some weird rant about Disneyland's food containing will-weakening drugs that will make us trust the government. I do mind, however, when the decision they're making directly effects me. Moving the couch? Ask me first. Deciding on a breed of chickens? Ask me first. Getting married and having kids? DEFINITELY ASK ME FIRST.
It may be their decision, and I can't forbid them from having children (that would just be selfish), but I would like to be listened to. If you think my idea is bonkers, tell me so! I'm used to it! Point out the flaws in my plan, call me crazy, call me illogical, defend your point however you want! Just so long as you connect with me.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not resentful of them for having a kid! I am SO exited about the kid!!
My biggest thing is that now they are tied forever. I know how it is to have your parents divorced, or worse, unhappy with each other. I really don't want more kids to go through that. (Holly, if you're reading this right now, I know you're going to want to take me aside and explain that you and my Dad will stay together. Let me just save you the trouble. I think that you will. I am simply paranoid and overly cautious.)
Moreover, I haven't actually completely figured out Holly. I'm good at understanding people, but it takes some time if I wish to understand them at a deep level. Some people take longer then others. Holly is no exception. I totally trust her, but I know that there is something deep within her that she ignores. Something that needs to come out sometime. I'm not sure what it is, and I'm not sure if she realizes it, but I know that it's there. This isn't necessarily a bad thing! It's just something that I wanted to delve into before life got more complicated. Also, I am still unfamiliar with her body language, so I feel like I'm treading on eggshells whenever I interact with her. I'm pretty light on my feet, but pregnant women tend to get very grouchy. Especially around me. Why? I'm not sure. I'm guessing it's because I broadcast 'wolf' when I'm in public.
