...Ya? Ya.
Sooo.... I'm assuming that anyone reading to here has watched the season finale. I'm also assuming that you're just as astounded as I am.
I mean, what the hell. What WAS that?? I think I liked it, but it was weird. It ties up the whole Clara thing quite nicely, but there are some major plot points I don't feel were properly addressed. Like... Oh... I dunno, WHO THE HELL DOES JOHN HURT PLAY?? The doctor, obviously, but which one??
There are many theories, but I like the 9.5 on the best. ...Wait. 9? ...DAMN IT! See, I never watched Classic Who, so I had no idea that the Time War took place between 8 and 9. I assumed that it was before 1's time, and he had been carrying the baggage all this time! Good god, the Doctor is amazing at hiding his feelings! Anyhoo, what was I prattling on about? Oh yes, John Hurt.
So I'm pretty sure that John Hurt plays 9. I have some questions as to how they're going to approach this, though. There are 3 ways, as far as I can see-

1. 1. They abandon 11 and jump backward, focusing on 9.5.
2. They kill 11 and jump backward, focusing on 9.5.
3. They focus on 11 and 9.5 at the same time, maybe switching every other episode, maybe through flash-backs.
4. They keep on truckin' with 11, leaving us to wonder about 9.5 for the rest of 11's reign.

I'm guessing they'll go with #3.

My biggest headache with all this?
WE'VE. BEEN. GETTING. THENUMBERSWRONGALLTHISTIME.
This is a very big problem for me. If John Hurt really is the 9th Doctor, then 9 is actually 10, and 10 is actually 11, and 11 is actually 12, WHICH MEANS THAT THE DREADED 13 IS COMING UP NEXT. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, Time Lords are only allowed to regenerate 12 times, giving them a total of 13 bodies. Sometimes they were granted extra lives, but it wasn't often. We have no idea how many regenerations the Doctor is allowed, so we're expecting his escape from the Rule of Thirteen to be pretty gnarly. And, if this whole "John Hurt As the Real 9th Doctor" hypothesis to be true, we have way less time then we had previously thought.
....Also, I have a borderline-CDO* thing about getting names right. IF I'VE HAD THE NUMBER OF DAVID TENNANT'S DOCTOR ALL WRONG THIS WHOLE TIME, I'M NOT SURE WHAT I'LL DO. ...Probably just map out a vacuuming plan for my room, but still.


...ALSO, DO WE GET MORE RIVER SONG??? 'Cause we need more River Song.

A Rather Small and Silly Update

I've been a bit out of sorts since the 10th Doctor died. I know that this will sound crazy, but I've been mourning by carrying around a replica sonic screwdriver to most places and wearing a light brown longcoat.
...I've even considered cutting my hair like his. (I've decided not to because it would use too much gel.)
If this is what it likes when a character dies, I can't imagine what it would be like to have one of my friends die...
Friends, please do your best to not die. It would be awful for all of us to lose you AND have me go completely batshit. Seriously, I even annoy MYSELF.

On the more awesome side, I've worked a total of two shifts at the library so far. And MAN. It is hard work, but it ROCKS. I'm being PAID to carry and sort books ALL DAY. Love! <3

....Anyway, I'm not really sure why I posted this. Maybe to show that I'm still here? I dunno. I think I'm gonna email one of my friends. I've gotta see if I've been annoying them or something and that why they haven't sent me anything.

...It wasn't very fulfilling.

I Found Tumblr...

This is my journal entry from last night.

November 14, 2012 

Crap. I got a Twitter... Someone posted a Benedict Cumberbatch quote about how he wants a "pocket Martin [Freeman]" and how it/he would "make a good pet." I wanted to see if it was a real quote (it is =) ), so I looked it up. I found myself on Tumblr's #pocket!Martin page. ADORABLE. Sherlock with little pocket Martins... Then I made the mistake of clicking the #johnlock link... HUGE CRAPPIN MISTAKE. 4 hrs later, I finished the first page, emailed myself the good stuff I found, then went to bed,
The most frightening part of all this? Although I'm suffering from an extreme Johnlock overdose, I STILL SHIP IT WITH THE FEROCITY OF A... Well, of a fangirl. Which makes sense 'cause I AM one... *Ahem.* Right.
So what does the fact that I can spend 4 hrs browsing Johnlock fics and art and come out relatively unscathed? I'd like to say "I'm super resilient!" or "I'm dead serious about my OTP!" or "I'm the biggest Sherlock fan alive! [which actually isn't true, judging from all I've seen today...]", but the truth is that I'm a BBC-addicted fangirl with very little life and too much time on her hands.

So, lesson learned! As much as I've found my people, I am NOT getting a Tumblr. Unless you never want to see me again. XD

PS!! I thought that this needed saying... Martin Freeman has seen Johnlock on Tumblr, and he showed some to Benedict Cumberbatch and he approves. O_O  He also says that we fangirls draw him in a very flattering style and that he thinks that fanfiction is great. <BIG DAMN SQUEE/>

Sherlock: A Game of Shadows

I've been on a Sherlock kick of late (as I'm quite sure you've all noticed) and I have to wait until January for the newest Sherlock episode <sniffle/> so I decided to watch Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. My oh my.
This movie was so horribly great, I'm not really sure where to start. It was also one of the more gay things I have ever seen that's technically all subtext. I'd classify it under text myself, but hey. So... Watson's marriage. Watch Sherlock's face during the whole thing. Come back once you've watched it. I'll wait. =)

No words... There are just no words to express just how awesome this scene was. And in case you didn't know, the whole 'smoking after sleeping with someone' is a widely used trope. Why? I have no idea. Still though. It stands. Everyone who made this movie clearly supports Johnlock. O__O

Reichenbach Fall

I JUST finished watching Sherlock, Reichenbach Fall.
Oh god, oh god, oh god.

There's nothing I can say to sum up any of what I just watched without giving out massive spoilers... And those of you who have watched it already know why.

Dude. Okay. So.... I watched Sherlock a couple of weeks ago..... Here's the script of my favorite part. Unfortunately, I could only find the beginning of the scene off youtube, but not the rest. Bugger. ]=[

[beat. John walks away.]
Sherlock: John? John! You are amazing, you are fantastic!

It seems as though this is the best confession of love we get from Sherlock for the season.... Although I haven't seen episode 3 yet. FINGERS ARE CROSSED AND BLEEDING. O______O
So... Um... Yeah. Sherlock just said that he is his conductor of light and genius. Coming from Sherlock, he's just said that John is the Sun to him (Even though he's still in denial about the Earth revolving around it). =}

One of the Best Sherlock Fics Ever

I just finished reading this exquisite piece of fiction. This is actually the second-best Sherlock BBC fic I have ever read (the other one being quite possibly the saddest thing that I have ever read).

Be warned, it is slash (Johnlock or Sherlock/John, in this case) and 8 chapters long. However, the slash isn't graphic and it's well worth the read- even if slash isn't really your thing (Unless you detest it. I can't help you there if that's the case). The whole story centers on how Sherlock and John's relationship evolves as they follow a mystery designed to bring them to an important realization.
